I will not be able to attend the Compost Demonstration Site for the next couple of weeks due to other commitments including a planned house move. 

I have now added a page on composting pumpkins along with links to Love Food Hate Wast and the charity Hubhub who promote and support events to reduce pumpkin waste.

The most of the paths have now been cut allowing easy access. We will be at Market Harborough on Saturday but will be on-site on Sunday for the Family Day

As of last weekend the grass  paths at the Demonstration site still has not been cut this season. I would suggest delaying any visit until it has been cut so that you can walk the site in comfort. I will be checking tomorrow and will report back.

The ‘I ♥ MH Festival’ is now in its third year and is organised and run by Sustainable Harborough. This year’s event will include a Waste Roadshow which will include upcycling activities with Artist Carol Miles, Rot Bot making with Master Composter Rodney Weston and Information and Advice from experts on everything from Food Waste and Recycling to Composting.

The Festival will have 22 Organisations taking part in the day and the public can come along to enjoy Free activities including Face Painting, Hfm Roadshow, Cycle Checks with George Hall Cycles, Energy Advice, Competitions and Games as well as the chance to find out more about  a variety of Local Organisations and Groups which work to help keep Harborough happy!
