Table top Composting Day 14
As can be seen in the two aerated "bins" the shredded paper has decomposed, except for two pieces in bin 3, but when aerating the bins the slices of beetroot are still recognisable
and are quite hard. I have added a layer of paper towel to the bottom of the aerated bins to absorb some of the liquid produced. The worms would appear to be multiplying. The process has been much faster than I had expected with such a small volume that has
not risen in temperature.

Very informative site. Having been away for 5 weeks and returning to evidence of rats under and around the compost bin, I can testify to lack of human activity allowing the rats to get comfortable.
