In readiness for the start of the International Compost Awareness Week on 1st May parents can enjoy a coffee and snack at the Hermitage Coffee Lounge while their
kids hunt for the creepy crawlies live in compost bins using hand lenses and microscope. Find worms, centipedes slugs, snails and other mini - beasts. Children can also draw a composting poster and enter the free Compost Awareness Week poster competition (closing
date 1st July.)

You do not need to attend to enter the Composting Poster and Photograph Competitions or the Rot, Pot, Sow and Grow events. all of which are open until the 1st July
